The purpose of the Cheerleading squad is to promote enthusiasm, school spirit, pride and commitment to Newington Athletics and Newington High School. Cheerleaders are representatives of Newington High School in and out of uniform. Cheerleaders are active members of the community encouraging positive attitudes and town pride.
